While Sergey's models are not 'Nudists' or 'Naturists' as such, they are often shot in natural settings such as a meadow, or by a river or stream. This is a key theme evident in Babenko's work.

As stated previously, Babenko's portfolio is not limited to female nudes. The photographer's repertoire covers a variety of genres. But it is evident that he enjoys working outdoors most of all. Whilst his landscapes and cityscapes can be breathtaking, it is his portrayal of pretty nudes in nature that interests us here.

It is not just the striking effect of strong natural light that makes his work such a visual powerhouse, but the compliments paid to each other by the model and the surrounding nature.

It is surely no secret that nature lovers are often the most appreciative of tastefully shot female nudes. Humans are creatures after all, or 'rational animals' to use Darwin's words.

There can be nothing tawdry or vulgar about a female nude pictured in natural surroundings, unless her pose makes her so. Seeing these pretty ladies, amongst the nature that surrounds us all, can only remind us of the pure natural beauty of women in general. A welcome antidote to the vulgarity of much of today's pornography.

Of course, it helps that Babenko's models seem to be among the most beautiful women on earth.
